During the era of the economic revolution, Karl Marx proclaimed that society was divided into the ‘haves’, and the ‘have nots’. To some extent, it is true even today. The elite class of the society has abundant luxuries whereas the tribes of rural areas are deprived of warm clothes for the freezing nights. PECT organizes ‘Cloth Donation Programs’ under the ‘Give Little-Help a Lot’ campaign to provide clothes to the needy and other amenities such as stationeries to the students, etc.
Till date, PECT has been able to assist around 2000 families under this “Give Little – Help A Lot” campaign.
While we are busy in picking a best outfit for a particular occasion, many people from the remote areas try to find happiness in their old rags.
PECT, a nonprofit organisation reaches out to such financially vulnerable tribals and provides them with pairs of clothes, blankets etc. Not only it provides clothing but also helps in the flourishment of the young generation by providing them educational wares. PECT stretches out to these outlying areas and aims to improve their way of living through the campaign “Give Little Help A Lot”.
Here, PECT acts as window through which, you can sneak out of the air conditioned rooms and come out on the grounds to help the needy by donating some basic and necessary supplies.
